Finlay Laboratory is able to provide three categories of specimen transportation, depending on your office needs:
1. Routine Pickup
Clients that send specimens to Finlay at least three (3) days per week will be placed on a Routine Pick-Up. Your courier will stop on a daily basis and No call for a pick-up is necessary. If specimen is drawn after our regular pick-up, then please call our Client Response Center for a late pick-up.
2. “Call-In” Pickup
Clients who send specimens less than three (3) days per week will be placed on a “Call-in” basis. Our courier will only stop when you request a pick-up or when reports or supplies are delivered. When requesting a pick-up or requesting supplies. Please call the laboratory to reach your Client Service Representative. To expedite your request. please have the following information available:
Your Name and Account Number
Location and Phone Number
STAT test required
Whether sample should be picked up from the office or Specimen Lockbox.
3. “STAT” Pickup
When a medical emergency requires a STAT pick-up. Please call the laboratory to make arrangements for prompt pick-up. Please see table with specific test(s) that can he ordered STAT. To expedite your request. Please have the following information available:
Your Name and Account Number
Location and Phone Number
STAT test required
Person to be called hack with results. Please provide phone number or pager number
Whether sample should he picked up from the office or Specimen Lockbox.
All phone calls requesting action from our Client Service Department will be recorded and tracked for quality assurance purposes.
